Is there a font that’s even more whimsical than Comic Sans?—

We know your photos have been on our website for six months, but we’re only going to pay you 1/4 of your invoice because we don’t think the quality is there.—

Client: “Oh wow, this looks GREAT! But seriously, we want to be original here.”
Me: “Oh, I’m sorry. When we discussed the design together, you had sounded like this was what you wanted; is there something that you would like changed?”
Client: “No, no. The idea is fine, it’s just that it’s pretty obvious to me that you traced that.”
Me: “…No, I didn’t. This is an original illustration made specifically for your company.”
Client: “Come on, even I can’t draw that well! I know it’s a tracing!”
What are you… 5? Daft client.
If any client tried this with me I would struggle greatly to not tell them where to go.

Christmas
I spent all day in town doing my Christmas shopping. It’s eaten into the time I wanted to spend on work today but I think I can handle it. And most of its done now, so thats ok, just a couple of things to work on then I’m all sorted!

Client learns a word he doesn't understand
Trying to wrap up a design for a client, he asked how big the graphical header was.
“700 pixels wide” I replied.
“It’s too small. Can we make it a half pixel bigger?”
I roll my eyes epically on my end and them send him the exact same comp image back. “Here you go”
“Perfect!”.

Later in the project, he asked if we could re-use pixels to save money.
I love this, the stupidity and blissful ignorance is almost beautiful. Like Stacey from the x-factor

Christmas
Despite not being the biggest fan of Christmas (it’s the shopping, it does my head in) I’ve decided to make a good portion of the presents I have to give this year myself. It might give them a bit more meaning then, though I guess I’ll still have to brave the crowds.
so, presents needed are:
Dad & Jo,Mum,
Andy, (possibly buy things)Josh, Soph and Adam (possibly buy things)CharlotteThis should make the next few weeks a bit mental.
